| Art empowers children with essential skills to achieve success in school and in their future. Their artistic expression strengthens right brain development and creative problem solving. Achieving a balance, in your child's brain development and in their education, only better prepares them for an ever changing creative and technical world. Tuesdays: Drawing/Painting Ages 8-11 4-5:30pm (materials included) I can offer your child an enriching Art experience with weekly instruction in Fine Arts, covering all mediums,techniques, and artists styles from the old masters to modern and contemporary artists. Each class is carefully tailored to be child friendly, age appropriate, and fun, featuring a well known artist, strengthening individual skills and enhancing the creative process. Thursdays: Teen Independent Study/ Painting Ages 12+ 4-5:30pm Students will work in their choice of medium ( acrylics/oils)with individual critique and instruction. *Students are required to supply their canvas, paint and brushes. Basic drawing skills and the fundamentals of the elements of art (line, shape, color, value, and texture) are components of all classes. A prepaid monthly commitment is required to reserve a space for that month. You may join at any time. No makeup days or refunds are given. $10 registration and supply fee. |
